CDCOVERS.CC is the worlds largest cover archive. There are literally thousands of covers that can be downloaded for free and printed using Expressit labelling software. The following is an easy to follow, step-by-step guide to help you get started.

Through out this guide, look for the cursor to help guide you through each task. You can also view an image of how your screen should appear at each stage if you are unsure of the steps that you are taking. Just look for the icon to view the screenshot.

Step 1
Using your Internet browser go to http://www.cdcovers.cc

Click on the 'Covers' button in the task bar near the top of the page.

Step 2
Browse for your desired type of label e.g. DVD.

Click on the initial that represent the first letter of the title you are after e.g. 'G' for 'Gladiator'.

Step 3
Click on the title you require. It will now be highlighted.

Click on the cover part you wish to download e.g.'CD'.

Click on 'Download Cover'.

Step 4
Once your cover appears, right-click on the image then click 'Save Image As....'

Step 5
A new browser window will appear. The image has to be stored in your Expressit Image folder. This folder will normally be located here:

C:\Program Files\exPressit SX 3.0\images.

Once you have located the correct folder, click' Save'.

Step 6
Launch the Expressit Labelling software.

Within the 'Image / Saved Designs Browser' you should see your downloaded cover.

Left-click, hold and drag the image onto the label template.

Release the left mouse button to 'drop' the cover onto the label template.

Step 7
Right-click on the cover and, from the menu that appears, click 'Fit To..'.

Click on the template to automatically fit the cover design to the disc template.

If required, manually adjust the scale of the cover by clicking on it and dragging the small grey boxes located around the cover border.

Step 8
Now we are going to duplicate the cover.

Click on the 'Copy Label' button on the top task bar.

Click on the cover to select it as the source to copy.

Click on the empty label to select it as the destination..

Step 9
Now you are ready to print the label.

Click on the 'Print' button on the top task bar.

The printer console window will open.

Remember to select the correct paper and quality settings to ensure the best possible results.

Click on 'OK' to start printing.

Use a Pressit applicator to ensure your disc is labelled correctly

Step 11
To protect your new disc label from being damaged by water or fading due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, we recommend that you use Pressit Sprayfix to seal and protect the label.
