The first thing to do is to check to make sure that the CD is compatible with your CD writer. Although this isn't a mjor problem these days there can still be some compatibility problems with certain discs on certain optical drives.
Update the firmware on your optical drive to ensure that this isn't the case.
Also there are various type's of CD's.
Certain high-speed discs will not work with lower speed writers, under 10x.
Silver/Blue discs use a cyanine dye, which has a maximum recording speed of 24x.
The yellow-green dye is pthalocyanine, and has a maximum recording speed of 52x.
Most discs are of the last variety, 52x dscs, and you shouldn't have any problems with any discs that we sell.
One thing to check before getting in touch is to try another type of writing software. If you are using Roxio EasyCD Creator then try Nero or InCD and vice-versa.
We would recommend using the newest version of Nero to produce the best results.
