The thin label alongside the CD labels can be used on the edge of CD Jewel Cases to allow easy identification while the Cases are stored.
This step by step guide should help you add this label into your designs.

  1. Make sure you have the CD or CD - Full Face options chosen in your label type
  2. Left Click the Add Text button on the left hand side of the screen
  3. Left Click the template part of the screen and a text box will appear
  4. Left Click and hold on the grey squares around the text box and resize to a long, thin, horizontal rectangular box
  5. You will probably have to reduce the text size to around 8 to fit the text in the box
  6. Type the text into the box
  7. Left click outside the box to deactivate the edit text option
  8. Right click the box and select the 90 degrees option
  9. Finally move the box into position and you should be ready to use that label

A nicely designed, labelled CD in a jewel case with a spine label and index on the back can make a lot of difference to an initial impression.
