At the moment the discs are just grayscale, similar to a black and white picture, but there are a few different back ground colours available.

The colours available are Red, Green, Orange, Yellow, Blue and the original Gold colour.

A full colour burning system is touted to happen before the end of 2008, but there is no evidence for that at the moment.
