I am unable to load any image files from file on my Mac edition of eXpressit 2.1SE.

  • eXpressit uses the Windows method of identifying file types: the file name extension. So, for example, a tiff file is recognised by the name: mypic.tif (tif being the extension).
  • You will have to rename the files in question with the appropriate extensions: jpeg: filename.jpg (filename.jpeg should also work) gif: filename.gif tif: filename.tif bmp: filename.bmp
  • Typically on Macs, the files will have no extension at all. You will have to ensure they add the '.' if this is the case.
